This class will teach the fundamentals of a balanced yoga practice - postures, breathwork, meditation, relaxation. It is perfect for connecting breath and movement in a mindful way to help soften tight muscles, ease joint pain, connect the body and mind at a peaceful, slower pace. We take the time to look at how the body should be aligned in poses and offer options to modify depending on your needs. To end the class, guidance on breath control (pranayama) and relaxation will help to bring a sense of calm and well-being to the body and mind. This class is appropriate for those who simply prefer a gentler approach to yoga as well as being useful for students who want to step back from faster flow to work on alignment.

Yoga Class


Yoga classes that happen within the workplace or yoga classes to be incorporated with your own workshops, courses. Benefits of yoga within the workplace include but are not limited to, reducing stress, increasing energy levels, improving focus, boosting immunity, promoting better sleep, improving flexibility and posture, reducing back pain, reducing physical, mental and emotional fatigue. Gentle Yoga is geared specifically for those new to yoga or those who are interested in a gentle practice. This class incorporates simple flowing sequences to warm up the body, as well as slower paced movements focusing on alignment, strength, balance, and flexibility. Each class will end with a period of relaxation. This class is appropriate for those with little or no experience. A perfect bridge between the moving in flow and staying stationary.



If you are new to yoga, have specific needs or injuries, or looking to deepen your practice or knowledge of yoga then a series of one to one sessions maybe of interest to you. During the initial session we will have a consultation to discuss your needs and aspirations. With one on one attention and guidance it is a great opportunity to open yourself to the never ending yoga journey. Following your one to one session I will provide an overview of our session and a yoga routine tailored specifically for you to help you establish your own personal home practice.

The sessions can be designed to follow any areas of interest you have such as breathing practices, meditation, yoga philosophy, physical postures, or relaxation. Also, you can ask as many questions as you would like to deepen your understanding of yoga. After our first session we can continue to meet as regularly as you feel is appropriate in order to develop and modify your personal routine.

This class is designed for mixed-level participants and will provide a balanced combination of sustained poses with attention to basic alignment and therapeutic principles. You will move your body deliberately into different postures that will challenge your strength and flexibility, while at the same time focusing on relaxation and mindfulness. Building core strength, which is key to good posture. During the class you will coordinate your breath and dynamic movements to flow between yoga poses. This flow of movement is excellent for getting your heart rate going and increasing your focus.



Yoga therapy incorporates postures, breath work and meditation which can help you navigate the emotional and physical toll of some of your health conditions.

Health conditions such as but not limited to, back pain, sciatica, neck issues, shoulder issues, stress, anxiety, depression, headaches, respiratory health, wrist issues, hip issues to name only some. Please contact me to discuss class options or to arrange a one to one consultation.
